MARK FULLER grew up listening to the piano stylings of Gospel music legend Eva Mae LeFevre.  Today, Mark has perfected that style and performs solo.   At a very early age in a small town in Georgia, Mark Fuller remembers watching the LeFevre family singing on television.  He was fascinated and amazed at Eva Mae LeFevre’s piano styling.  Mark told his mother he wanted to learn how to play the piano just like Eva Mae.  At the age of seven, Mark started playing an old upright piano, and by the age of thirteen, he was playing for church services.  Mark continued to watch the LeFevres on television, listen to their albums, and attend "live concerts" every chance he got.   As a young adult, Mark moved to Atlanta and became personal friends with Eva Mae and often worked behind the scenes until he became her fulltime piano accompanist.   Known for his distinctly energetic "Eva Mae"-style piano playing, Mark has learned to faithfully reproduce her style so well that many who remember Eva Mae in her prime say that it seems that they are hearing her play again.  Bill Gaither often calls on Mark to play at Gaither Homecoming concerts.  Mark's version of the Southern Gospel Music classic Keep on the Firing Line has become an audience favorite everywhere he plays.

GREAT CONCERT BEGINNING NOVEMBER 6, 2011 @ OXFORD ALABAMA CIVIC CENTER    DOORS OPEN AT---5:00 PM
For over 50 years, The Dixie Echoes have been delivering the gospel message in song across America through their spiritually uplifting music ministry. Considered to be one of the pioneer gospel groups, the Dixie Echoes have returned to their roots singing around two microphones with just a piano. Respected among their peers and industry leaders alike, the Dixie Echoes are recognized as one of the premiere groups in gospel music.

Since the Dixie Echoes formed in 1960, they have released nearly 70 albums and have had numerous top ten singles. They have been honored with multiple Dove award nominations from the Gospel Music Association as well as numerous awards from the Southern Gospel Music Association and the Singing News Fan Awards. The Dixie Echoes have also been honored with three former members being inducted into the Southern Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame; J.G. Whitfield (1997), Dale Shelnut (2001), and Billy Todd (2009).

The newest member: Trent Adams – from Clay County Alabama, provides the bass vocals for the group. As the newest member of the Dixie Echoes, he is quickly becoming a fan favorite across the country with his ability to deliver moving performances as well as blend right in with the rest of the group. Although Trent is the youngest member, he has quickly recognized the importance of carrying on traditional gospel music. With an ever humble spirit, Trent sings for the glory of God each and every night.

THE DIXIE ECHOS--Pensacola, Florida
                AWARD WINNING   HOPE'S JOURNEY

From what started as a dream for Vonda Easley, and her daughter Ashley,  became a reality when they drove to the first singing with their sound equipment loaded in the trunk of the car. Not sure exactly how to assemble this set of cables and amplifiers, they asked for assistance and offered their best for God. That day it was obvious that He had called them to this Southern Gospel Ministry known as Hopes Journey.

After several years of growth and changes, Vonda continues to sing the alto part and writes some of the songs that are used to share Christ’s love and understanding of His work in their lives. She has been nominated for several awards for her songs and continues to be used by God to speak at various conferences and seminars. Her life story is moving but her love for worship in song is preeminent in this ministry.

God arranged for Jeremy Wilkes to join the group and they embarked upon a new sound as a trio. Jeremy has a real gift of sincerity and talent as he sings the baritone part and plays piano or bass guitar as needed. He also spends hours in the studio developing soundtracks for performances or mixing new CD releases. His love for God is evident when he shares his heart in their concerts.

When another change was necessary, Kristina Wilkes was discovered as a very talented soprano singer who had grown up singing in church but had never traveled and sang with a group. It was as though God handpicked her for this role as the 3rd voice in this group. Her range is incredible but her love for Christ is dominant when she sings. Her addition gave the group the final touch to become one of the freshest and energetic trios traveling in Southern Gospel music today.

Last year after prayerful consideration, the group discussed adding a full time pianist to give some spontaneity. With a strong recommendation from a friend of the group, Cody Harris was invited to“tryout.” He came to a church after a singing and played one song. Itwas as though the Holy Spirit arranged this audition because it felt very right and he was asked to begin immediately. Everyone quickly falls in love with this young man who is 21 years old and loves his calling.

Understanding their roots and appreciation for convention-style music, they mix old and new to bring a spirit-filled presentation to many churches, concert halls and convention centers throughout the southeastern states even traveling to the northeast several times a year as their ministry grows. With God as their guide, Hopes Journey wants to be a beacon of hope for those who may be hurting or seeking God’s blessing for their life with the ultimate goal of people coming to know Christ as their personal Savior.
